Bargain Book Sale will mark 34th year

The 34th annual Bargain Book and Media Sale, sponsored by the East Brunswick Friends of the Library, will take place March 31-April 6 in the J.C. Penney court at Brunswick Square Mall, Route 18, East Brunswick.

Hours on opening day, March 31, will be 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The sale will continue April 1-5 from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on April 6 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Opening-day admission is free of charge this year for the first time; the 10 a.m. start time on opening day also is a first.

The East Brunswick Library Puppeteers will offer free puppet shows for youngsters at 7 and 7:30 p.m. on April 2 and 3.

The sale will feature thousands of gently used hardcover and paperback books, audiobooks, video games, computer software, collectors items and a large selection of DVDs and CDs, all at discounted prices. Cash and checks may be used as payment for purchases; credit cards will not be accepted.

Proceeds from the book sale will benefit the East Brunswick Friends of the Library, an organization that helps support the library.
