Chabad will sponsor Purim gala at MTHS

Chabad House of Monroe will host its fifth annual Purim Celebration beginning at 11 a.m. on March 21 in the cafeteria at Monroe Township High School (MTHS), Perrineville Road.

The event, titled "Purim With A Shmear," will feature a Purim brunch of bagels and "shmears" and an appearance by comedian Paul Lyons of "Everybody Loves Raymond" and A&E's "Comedy on the Road." The program also will include a multimedia megillah presentation and hamantaschen and graggers for all.

The entire Jewish community, regardless of affiliation or background, is invited.

Admission, including brunch and the comedy show, is $10 for adults, free of charge for children under age 14.
