Voter-registration drive going on at E.B. Library

The East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center, is holding a voter-registration drive throughMarch 25.

Tables are set up near the library entrance to facilitate registration. All East Brunswick residents 18 years of age and above who are as yet unregistered are encouraged to visit the library to sign up, especially if they wish to participate in the East Brunswick school board election on April 15 when voters will choose members of the Board of Education and cast their vote for the proposed school budget.

To be eligible to vote, residents must be at least 18 years old, citizens of the United States, must have been living in the state and the county for 30 days and must have registered at least 21 days before the election. The last day to register for the school-board election will be March 25.
