Mr. Hannon, 49, of Old Bridge, died March 18, 2008, in Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. His father, James Ward Hannon, died in 1988, and his stepfather, Albert Jones, died in 2001. Surviving are his mother, Patricia Murphy Jones; his wife, Barbara Kirwin of Old Bridge; a son, James Hannon Jr., and his wife, Tara, of Old Bridge; two daughters, Stacy Ricciardi, and her husband, Charles, and Patricia Reck, and her husband, Kevin, all of Jackson; two sisters, Mary De Lorenzo, and her husband, Douglas, of Manalapan and Marcella Hammes of Rockledge, Fla.; a granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
