Mr. Blaszka, 90, of South River, died March 16, 2008, in West Broward Care Center, Plantation, Fla. Prior to his retirement in 1981, he was employed as a receiving clerk in the storeroom at Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for 42 years. He was predeceased by his first wife, Helen Cichalski Blaszka; his second wife, Regina Piotrowski Blaszka; and by a stepson, Stephen J. Tomari. Surviving are two sons, Jim, and his wife, Diane, of Torrington, Conn., and Michael S. of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a daughter, Lynette Burgert of Rio Rancho, N.M.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and greatnephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
