Home-based travel agent seminars on tap in E.B.

A variety of upcoming Association of Home-Based Travel Agents Seminars are planned at the East Grand Buffet, 6 Edgeboro Road, East Brunswick. Each event will begin at 6:15 p.m. All travel agents and associates are invited.

Cost of each seminar is $13, including dinner, beverage, tax and gratuities.

The schedule is as follows:

April 15- Isramworld, Travel Insured, Monarch Cruises, Collette Vacations, Homeric Tours;

May 13 - Anguilla Tourism Board, Uniworld River Cruises, Blue Waters (Antigua), Celtic Tours.

A Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) training class is set for Oct. 7. Bernie Blomquist, CLIA training manager, will offer a 90-minute presentation for all agents who would like to renew their CLIA cards for 2009. Cost is $30 ($25 for payment received by March 30) and includes dinner buffet, beverage, tax and gratuities.
