Plays-in-the-Park tryouts to begin April 18

Open auditions for the summer musical season of Plays-in-the-Park,Middlesex County's community theater, will be held beginningApril 18 at the Stephen J. Capestro Theater, Roosevelt Park, Edison.

Tryouts for "The Producers," "Beauty and the Beast" and "Smokey Joe's Café" are set for 7 p.m. on April 18 and noon on April 19 and 20. "Chip" auditions, seeking a boy 10-14 years old, are planned for 11 a.m. on April 19 and 20. Callbacks are set for April 21-28.
