Alborada sets April 13 Gala and Fundraiser The Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre, Old Bridge, will hold its fourth annual Gala and Fundraiser from 5:30-10:30 p.m. on April 13 at Ria Mar Restaurant, 25 Whitehead Ave., South River. The evening will feature Spanish and Portuguese cuisine, performances by Alborada troupe members, a silent auction, raffles, door prizes and more. Guests will dance to the Latin music of Donny Pesce. Honoree will be Isabel Nazario, associate vice president for academic and public partnerships in the arts and humanities at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, founding director of the Center for Latino Arts and Culture and former executive director of the Office for Intercultural Initiatives at Rutgers.
