Residents invited to design logo for library

The Old Bridge Public Library is holding an open competition for Old Bridge residents to design a new logo for the library.

The competition began at the beginning of April. The deadline has been extended to May 9.

Judging will be done by a panel representing the library and the community.All logos submitted will be on display throughout the library during June.

The winning design will be unveiled at an awards ceremony planned for 7 p.m. on June 13. The creator of the award-winning logo will receive a plaque and a check for $150, both donated by the Friends of the Old Bridge Public Library.

All entries must be submitted with the official entry form, which is available at the Main Library Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road, at the Laurence Harbor Branch, Shoreland Circle, and at the library's Web site, www.oldbridgelibrary.org.
