Garage-sale proceeds to aid animals at shelter

Sayreville Pet Adoption Center, 1400 Main St., will hold a Giant Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 20 in the center's parking lot.

Donations of items for the sale will be accepted at the shelter from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 18 and 19 only (no exceptions). Clothing, linens and shoes will not be accepted.

Proceeds will benefit the pets housed at the shelter.
