Earth Day fest planned at Cheesequake Park

Cheesequake State Park, Old Bridge, will hold an Earth Day Challenge beginning at 11 a.m. April 19.

Participants will meet at the park's Interpretive Center, 300 Gordon Road. Event highlights will include guided nature hikes, a nature film festival, giveaways and tree plantings. Representatives of the Old Bridge Environmental Commission and theMiddlesex County Master Gardeners Program will be on hand.

All ages are invited. Admission is free of charge.
