Fund-raisers
April 18

• Proceeds Night, sponsored by the Samsel Upper Elementary School PTO, Sayreville, 5-9 p.m., at TGI Friday's, Route 9 north, Old Bridge. Participants should tell their server they are there to support the Samsel Upper Elementary School PTO. Restaurant will donate 20 percent of each supporter's bill (pretax) to the PTO. • Old Bridge Patriots Baseball Dinner, 6:30-10:30 p.m., at Buttonwood Manor, 845 Route 34, Matawan. Hot hors d'oeuvres, pasta and carving stations; fruit, vegetable, cheese displays; dessert table; soda, coffee, tea. Entertainment by American DJ Entertainment and Special Request. Raffles, silent auctions. Tickets cost $50 in advance, $60 at the door. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Old Bridge Patriots, a travel baseball team for youngsters age 11 and under. April 18 & 19

• Rummage Sale, sponsored by the Elizabeth Circle of Spotswood Reformed Church, 4-8 p.m. on April 18, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 19, at the church, 429 Main St., across from the post office. April 19

• Casino Night, sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes School, doors open at 5:30 p.m., cards dealt at 6 p.m., at the school, 44 Cleveland Ave., Milltown. Tickets, in advance or at the door, include admission, $300 in "play" money, buffet dinner, dessert, coffee, tea. Texas Hold'Em tournament, 50/50, other raffles. Prizes include baskets with various themes. Tickets cost $60 in advance, additional $20 for Texas Hold'Em Tournament; available at OLOL Rectory, 233 N.
