Volunteers to clean up sections of Raritan River

The New Jersey Community Water Watch will join with the Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership to sponsor a cleanup of sections of the Raritan River and the LawrenceBrook from10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 19.

Participantswillmeet at 9:30 a.m. in the Loews Theatre parking lot, Route 1, north of Route 18, for registration and breakfast and to listen to guest speakers.

Volunteers are advised to wear sturdy shoes and long-sleeve shirts. Refreshments will be provided.
