James A. Polon, Esq.

Mr. Polon, 76, of Freehold Township, formerly of East Brunswick, died April 6, 2008, at home. An attorney, he practiced in the area for more than 30 years. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elaine Rittman Polon, in 1971. Surviving are his wife, Joy; three sons, Mark Polon and Richard Polon of East Brunswick and David Polon of Las Vegas; a daughter, Joanne Miller of New Brunswick; a stepson, Gary London of Glencoe, Ill.; three stepdaughters, Carol Coleman of Smiths Grove, Ky., Jill Maguire of LaJolla, Calif., and Kim Lynch of Tinton Falls; a brother, Robert Polon of Spotswood; and seven grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Clayton and Mc- Girr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
