If governor really wants to help residents, let him cut taxes, waste
      I could not believe my eyes when I saw Edna Gordon's letter to the editor titled "Governor's Actions Show Him To Be a Man of Great Courage" (Suburban, April 13). She actually called our governor courageous. Is it courageous to threaten our children with closing state parks?

Theft of stroller tarnishes otherwise wonderful day
      My granddaughter, Danielle, attended her first parade (the South Amboy St. Patrick's Day Parade) on April 20. Since she is only 7 months old, she really didn't appreciate all the marchers and the wonderful bands.
