Journalist Charles Wiley will discuss his World War II experiences, life in the United States and the power of media and news bias at an event set for 2 p.m. on April 26 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center. The event is co-sponsored by the East Brunswick Historical Society and the library.

Wiley has had an extensive career in the media and the military. He is a radio/TV talk-show personality and commentator who has appeared on CNN Crossfire and C-Span. As a journalist, he covered the Vietnam War and has reported for NBC, United Press International (UPI) and the London Express. His military career started at age of 17 when he joined the U.S. Navy and served during World War II.

All are welcome to attend the event.
