Irene Sitkowski Smykaj

Mrs. Smykaj, 77, of South River, died April 15, 2008, at home. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a film inspector and operator with E.I. DuPont Photo Products, Parlin section of Sayreville, where she worked for five years. Her husband, Stanley J. Smykaj, died in March. Surviving are four children, Karen Smykaj-Kiczula, and her husband, Peter Kiczula, of South River, Lisa Karaniewsky, and her husband, Thomas, of Colts Neck, Stanley P. Smykaj, and his fiancée, Christina Su, of Monroe, and Mark Smykaj, and his wife, Holly, of Parlin; a sister, Cecelia Wilson of the Morgan section of Sayreville; and two granddaughters. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick.
