Rec office offers trips, Mother's Day cruise

The Milltown Department of Recreation will sponsor a variety of upcoming events. All trips and programs are open to residents and nonresidents.

Interested individuals are invited to the May 2 or the July 27 performance of "Jersey Boys" on Broadway. The bus will depart from Milltown Borough Hall at 2 p.m. on May 2, 10:30 a.m. on July 27. Cost per trip is $130 and includes bus transportation and show ticket.

An excursion to the Strawberry Festival at Peddler's Village, Lahaska, Pa., is scheduled for May 3. The bus will depart at 9 a.m. from Borough Hall. Cost is $20 per person.

Interested individuals are invited to a Mother's Day Cruise aboard the River Queen, out of Brielle, on May 11. Cost, including bus transportation, is $57 for adults and seniors, $38 for children age 11 and under.

A trip to American Girl Place, New York City, is planned for June 19. Cost is $75 per person and includes bus transportation, show and lunch. The bus will depart from Borough Hall at 11 a.m. Lunch will be at 2:30 p.m. Show time is 4 p.m.

A "Wine Tasting on the Mountain" trip to Alba Winery, Milford, is set for May 18. Bus will depart at 11:30 a.m. from Borough Hall. Cost is $45 per person and includes lunch and a tour of the vineyard and winery.
