Ignaz "Nat" Ferber, M.D.

Dr. Ferber, 95, of Monroe, died April 16, 2008, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1983, he was a physician for 42 years, with a private internal-medicine practice in the Bronx, N.Y., for 30 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia H. Ferber. Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Ferber Reder, and her husband, Bernard, of Littleton, Colo.; a son, Joel Ferber of Denver; a brother, Fred Ferber of the Bronx; a granddaughter, Dr. Lindsay Reder; and his caretaker, Rose Sarpong. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in King Solomon Memorial Park, Clifton.
