'Memories of Aprons, Cookies' to fill library Judith Krall-Russo will offer a presentation titled "Memories of Aprons and Cookies" at 6:30 p.m. on May 12 at the Sayreville Public Library, 1050 Washington Road. The apron, which has been in service for centuries, has been worn by both men and women. Guests at the lecture are invited to share their apron memories, bring 15 copies of a cookie recipe to share and wear or bring their favorite apron. Krall-Russo, who will bring her apron collection to display, will wear one of her favorite aprons. Admission is free of charge; registration is requested. The public is invited to attend.
