Marching unit to hold May 20 recruiting event

The Sayreville War Memorial High School (SWMHS) Marching Unit will host a recruiting evening, open to all students in grades 7-12 residing in Sayreville or the borough's Morgan or Parlin sections who may be interested in joining the group, from 6:30-8 p.m. on May 20 at the high school, Washington Road.

Current members of the color guard, brass and woodwind sections will be on hand. Guests will be able to see a performance by each section, meet with current members and play or spin with the group. Parents are welcome to attend and meet staff members and current band parents. Refreshments will be served.
