Block Party to support youngster's cancer fight

Christopher's Block Party, a benefit for the Cary Cares Foundation to support 3- year-old Spotswood resident Christopher in his fight against cancer, is set for June 8 at the Stone Museum/Garden Falls, 608 Spotswood-Englishtown Road, Monroe. The fundraiser is sponsored by the Party Hut and Bagel Bazaar, both Spotswood, and Stone Museum/Garden Falls.

The event will feature a tricky tray, "Party Hut Idol," a best-recipe contest, crafts, vendors, games, food and entertainment, including featured performer Ollie the Puppeteer from Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).

Admission is $20 per adult, $10 per child, and includes food and entertainment. All proceeds will go toward Christopher's treatment.

To make a tricky-tray donation or for more information, call Donna Cary at (866) 543-7568.
