World AIDS Day commemorated Dec. 1

The Old Bridge Public Library will commemorateWorldAIDS Day, Dec. 1, with an information table hosted by Liz Revill of Raritan Bay Medical Center. The most current accessible information on HIV/AIDS will be available.

World AIDS Day 2008's theme is "Stop AIDS: Keep the Promise," an appeal to governments, policy makers and regional health authorities to ensure that they meet the many targets that have been set in the fight against HIV and AIDS, and especially the promise of universal access to HIV treatment, care, support and prevention services by 2010.
