Alborada schedules Taste of Spain gala

The Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre, Old Bridge, will host a fundraiser, A Taste of Spain: The Dances, Wines and Tapas of Spain, 7-10 p.m. Dec. 3 at Little Spain Restaurant, 582 New Brunswick Ave., Fords section of Woodbridge.

The evening will feature tastings of Spanish regional wines and tapas (little dishes of appetizers), accompanied by flamenco and classical Spanish guitar music by Jared, and flamenco dancing by the Alborada dancers, all in an atmosphere emulating the "tablaos" of Spain. Wine contests will be held throughout the evening.

Tickets cost $45 person and may be purchased in advance or at the door.
