Community thanked for help with bike drive
Iwould like to thank the residents of Sayreville, Old Bridge and neighboring towns for your support with my Eagle Scout project. The bike collection drive on June 6 was a success. With your help I collected a total of 110 used bikes and raised over $1,200 for Pedals for Progress.

The used bikes are being shipped to El Salvador and scheduled to arrive in July. The bikes will improve the lives of adults and children in underprivileged El Salvador communities, helping them get to work, school, medical facilities, markets and start new businesses.

A special thank you to all the area businesses and organizations that contributed to my effort.
