Frances Mae Fritzsche Beres

Mrs. Beres, 84, of Sayreville, died June 14, 2009, at Madison Center, Old Bridge. Before her retirement she was employed by Howard Johnson Hotel in New Brunswick as head of housekeeping. Mrs. Beres was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Oswald Fritzsche and a sister, Eleanor Scalzo. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, John Beres; her children and their spouses, John and Laverne "Sandy" Beres of Green Acres, Fla., Thomas and Mary Ellen Beres of East Brunswick and Dianna and David Anderson of Middlesex; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Funeral services were held at the Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville, followed by burial at Franklin Memorial Park, Franklin.
